Yesterday I spoke to two people who are on our prayer list.
T.A. Grant has some blood tests and asks for our prayers. She has been retested twice to be sure of the results.
Joe Marcoux is still recovering at home. He needs prayers for wisdom to and strength to follow Doctors orders about being up and about. This is important to his quick healing, but of course difficult to accomplish.
Last night Jim Hines announced that his surgery for the liver transplant will be on 8/20/08. He will then take a three month sabbatical from the eldership. Please pray for him and our remaining shepherds, Larry Wilterdink and Brad Davis.
Our Ukraine mission team leaves Denver for Ukraine on Friday at 8.05 am. They will return on July 31, 2008 at 9.30pm. They will work with about 160 orphans and 60 kids from dysfunctional family situations to convey to them the love of God.
